BattWiseR-value targets by climate zone, and what it takes to hit them.

Editorial policy

This page explains how BattWise decides what to publish and how money affects it. The short version: advertisers and affiliate programs have no say in our conclusions.

How articles are made

  1. We pick a question people actually ask, from search data and from reader email.
  2. We research it against primary sources — manuals, standards, specifications, and our own measurements where we have them.
  3. A draft is assembled with the help of AI writing tools. Every draft is then reviewed, corrected and approved by a human editor before publication. We do not publish unreviewed machine output.
  4. Anything we could not verify is either left out or explicitly marked as uncertain.

Measurements

When we publish a number we measured ourselves, we publish the method and the date next to it. If a figure comes from a manufacturer, we say so.

Money

BattWise earns from display advertising and from affiliate links, including the Amazon Associates Program. We do not sell reviews, rankings, or links. A product is not recommended because it pays more; where we recommend against a popular product, we say why.

Corrections

Mistakes get fixed, not quietly deleted. Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with the date. Report one at [email protected].
